And I want see the consequences of some choices on my companions, not too mention the ambient paranoia makes wonder who will be the traitor, if there's any. For now I feel the companions approach developed enough and for now I can't stop play the game just because of that, I want know more.Even during main quests missions there are choices, as usual it's not easy to know what those have real consequences or not, but it's still significant choices until you have read a walkthrough or tried replay the game. There's quite a lot companion stuff and if there's a linearity it's quite well hidden. But there's a lot of secondary quests, no linearity here. So yes for main quests missions I only get them one per one with no choices to choose a main quest or not. There was other more fake missions inside the castle, sort of introduction like find someone or other stuff. About the linearity approach for the main quest, in no way I can judge as even after hours of play I'm still only at my second real mission.More depth and choices would be better but there's classes choices to do, so character builds to setup, and this for 4 different classes. So overall it's good and better than some comments quoted, not realizing it's a lot one class spread into 4 different classes. I'd say it suffer with the comparison with DA2 that have strengthen a lot the DA class system. Still the 4 class system is good and still offer choices. The diversity of a single class of Avernum system is sort of spread into 4 classes, so each class are sort of dumbed down when compared to the Avernum system but the 4 classes as a whole aren't that much dumbed down in comparison of the previous single class.I do agree it's been sort of dumbed down, but not that the result is that awful nor that dumbed down.I haven't seen yet any thread about this game in game section so for now I'm using it for a first feedback.
